Words will always be the ones that heal me
Do you know what it is like to fall in love? I do it every day. Today I fell for the rain. After a few months of sun and heat, to have a cool rain pouring down my face felt rather amazing. When I have a beautiful woman in front of me, paying attention to me, sparing me kind words and affection; I fall in love. When the sun rises, when the sun sets, when the silence exists and then is followed by the crunching of sound; I love.
Have you ever felt a heartache?
"...no truth can cure the sorrow we feel from losing a loved one. No truth; no sincerity, no strength, no kindness can cure that sorrow. All we can do is see it through to the end and learn something from it, but what we learn will be no help in facing the next sorrow that comes to us without warning. "
--Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami

Van Gogh (More Important is the Love We Grow)
My companion is a window with
something new to show me
every moment
How the rain turns
to snow,
back to rain,
back to snow
You'd never know
unless you came around
sometimes
Like a pair of lit eyes,
always open, if you look
And I ponder
Does beauty exist
or Is it
the soul that paints the world
with broad strokes
or Is it
my eyes
looking closer

round and round we go
OPENHOUSE in Manhattan. (201 Mulberry Street, NY, NY)
Being that the daily temperature at this time of year happens to range from 38 degrees to 28 degrees (f), the current project of Park Here at the openhouse gallery is a wonderful sanctuary from the cold city.
This 4,500 square foot art space has been temporarily converted into an indoor park, one where the snow and cold did not take over. Its a treat just to get there and find a seat on the faux grass and relax. Yes, the see-saw is meant to be used and there is even a little fake pond where someone had left a few boats.
If you are in the city this month, this spot is a great place to check out, have some fake warmth for a bit to cheer you up. Park Here will be open till the 30th of this month from 11am to 6pm everyday.
Stay cool and don't watch too much tv, it only builds the stupid muscle :)

lets get close
She sings a pretty song it's a silly story filled with riddles
While she fiddles with the melody, la la la la la la la la-la-la
The situation calls for infatuation with circumstances, instances and
Warping moments; possibilities swarming right in front of your eyes.
Calling you to stay a while longer, sing along above a whisper
wonder whether now or never,
ever comes at all
does it ever come at all
hmmmmmmmmmm
la la la la la la la la-la-la

Oh the rushes and their ultimately fatal outcomes.
I get a rush in waiting till the very last moment to do everything. It is an awful narcissistic habit I am sure. Why must I always insist on turning up the pressure? Why must I always insist on forcing people to make that split second decision? I don't know, I call it fun when I speak of it, though that is just a morbid excuse. ARGH!!!
But the rush, I kid you not, the rush....
